About Matt Campbell

This is just a little background history on myself:

I started shooting with an old Kodak 110 camera back in the early days. Yes the ones that took the giant cube flash bulbs on top, lol. I then upgraded to the uber cool and advanced Polaroid camera and was able to produce images on the spot. As the years progessed, I began moving to 35mm film cameras and travelling to shows across the southeast photographing cars for friends. I became known as "Camera Matt" and was recruited at many shows to shoot coverage and car and model for car clubs and local papers. It was at this point that I fell in love with model photography. I was hooked.

In early 2005 I moved up to the digital world with a point and shoot but soon realized I was already maxing out the limitations of the camera. In November 2005, I purchased my first Canon Digital SLR and formed Atlanta Peformance Photography (AP Photography) a month later. I had my first publication shoot in Jan. of 2006 and I haven't looked back since. Below is a small sample of features and product shots I have had published:
